What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

Shiny Blades. Scorching Fire. Falling Feathers.

That’s me, Everly Banks, the original supernatural. After being betrayed by The Council and given to a madman, I burned it all to the ground. Now all I want is to stay hidden, protecting those who need it from the shadows.

When four hunters show up on my doorstep asking for my help and trying to drag me back into the light, I send them and their secrets packing. Did I mention they work for The Council?

I may not have a choice. An army of demons is amassing and innocents are getting caught up in its net. My only friend may be next.

Trusting them may burn me, but I’ve always played with fire.

Twisted Flames is an Urban Fantasy with a Reverse Harem romance. One ancient woman, four hot men, and one drunk sidekick battle demons and themselves. This series includes sexual content, mature language, and violence. It is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Alludes to rape, but no details are given. It may not be suitable for everyone.

Thoughts on Twisted Flames

What a fantastic debut! This book smacks you across the face and demands you pay attention, weaving a complex story that is literally billions of years in the making.

Who is Everly? WHAT is Everly? No one really knows, but everyone wants to.

This story, while brewing in history and time, is set in present day, thrusting us into the life of modern Everly. We learn tid-bits as the story flows. Not who she is, but more what she can do, and what she can do for others. She is wanted the world over for her skills and powers, not to mention for the general mystery that surrounds her very existence. But Everly is hiding, and she does it very well… until four equally mysterious Supernatural men drop into her life and start shaking up the small town she calls home.

  • Incredibly complex.
  • Well written.
  • Love, Love, Love Everly!
  • The mystery is captivating.
  • Such a delightful slow burn and slow build that will probably shock ALL of them when it comes to fruition.
  • Funny!

  • A bit disjointed in the beginning. Reason 1/2 star is lost.
  • I want to know more about the guys, see more of them and understand them a bit better – Book 2?
