Thoughts on Trigger
Dystopian take on shifters
Shifters May rule in this dystopian universe, but the humans don’t know it…. yet.
But the shifters want, actually need, the human race to survive – so they take control when mankind destroys its population via war and greed, forming corporations and forces in an effort to lead the lost race back from the brink of extinction.
It works – and now the world is slowly rebuilding. Yet the shifters still need the humans, and we get to see first hand why when one snarky and brave redhead falls for her father’s political and personal enemy.
Fun, intense and kinda engrossing, this book kicks off a series set in an intriguing world.
Pros:
- Unique take on shifter lore.
- The dystopian aspect feels all too real.
- Interpersonal relationships are grand.
- Pretty Funny in places.
Cons:
- Bothered about the bite…. if he didn’t know, why did he do it?
