What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

For a decade, I’ve hated the supernaturals who owned my world.

I hunted them.
I killed them.

And now, in the most grand twist of fate—I am bonded to one of them.

Oh, the irony.

Being a supernatural bounty hunter isn’t exactly a popular job. But after the magic wars, there aren’t many things a human can do that will put food on the table.

Thankfully anything my right hook can’t handle, my guns can.

Or so I thought.

When a demon summoning runs awry, the being that comes into this world changes everything.

I’m not sure if he’s truly a demon or a god, but one thing I do know is that he’s after me. I’d like to see him try.

I’ve got a promise to fulfill, and I’m not backing down.

The only way out of this is his death or mine, and I’ll do anything to survive.

Even if that means making a deal with the devil.

My Thoughts on Touched By Fire

I love finding new characters to cheer for, especially if they are flawed yet determined. Enter Piper, a Bounty Hunter scrounging the dregs of New Chicago for her marks all the while attempting to right the mistakes of her past – with a mean right hook and a deadly aim targeted on the Supernaturals that haunt her world.

When the opportunity arises to finally get some answers, or possibly help in her decade long quest, she jumps at the chance… and falls into an even bigger mess that leaves her at the center of not one, but TWO demons attention, along with a hefty price tag on her own head. It’s brutal, delicious and just the beginning of this promising new series. Oh, and let’s not forget Nathalie… there’s no way you can’t help but love her.

My Final Verdict on Touched By Fire

An action packed Urban Fantasy with potential to become something great if the series continues on like this. Complex characters, intriguing world building and a mystery that lurks in the background – and it’s free on Kindle Unlimited.
