His leaders want insurance. They want an heir. They need a genetic match. And now, they’ve found her.Exotic. Stunning. Lethal. Rushkah Ekhayl would murder Qillian in his sleep if she got the chance. She’s Rhyolusian. She is his enemy.
The Last Dominant is a scorching enemies-to-lovers romance where a taste of treason unlocks desires of submission and control. For mature readers only.
Publisher’s Note: This steamy sci-fi thriller contains elements of power exchange.
Thoughts on The Last Dominant
Sci-fi meets paranormal in a sweet mix that is quite literally Enemies-to-lovers.
These two are from different planets and immersed in a war that stretches far back into their combined history, a war neither is really winning. The title, while indicating a BDSM thrill ride with that cover, actually refers to a dominant gene, the last known on this planet. That gene imparts particular powers the council is trying to cultivate. Their newest captive? Well, she just happens to have the recessive gene suitable for breeding the next generation of powered humans.
Oh, and there is a bit of BDSM too. In case you’re wondering. Just a bit. 😏
Pros:
- Intriguing.
- Genetics
- Character explanations.
- HEA.
Cons:
- Bit Predictable.
- World building is sparse.

Verdict

A fast, yet enticing sci-fi adventure romance which plays well with the Enemies-To-Lovers Trope. Not quite taboo, but there are elements some might consider naughty. Free on KU.
