Thoughts on Succubus Lips

While many RH books out there in the market today are fleshed out into a lengthy series, this one bends the genre just enough to allow the romance and action to stay in just one book. This makes it a bit fast, yet somehow it works – though a full connection with the characters isn’t quite made. Still, over all, it’s decent; a bit fantasy, a touch PNR while still being in the guise of an X-Men like background. Interesting.

The world will go on with another book with different characters, yet for this grouping, their HEA is here and done.

Pros:

Unique story.
World building.
FMC is appealing.
A bit X-Men, a bit LOTR.

Cons:

Fast.
Lack of Emotional build up.
Conclusion feels rushed or slapped together, though there was little else that could be done.
