What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

The mighty Fae are tricksters. They love their games, their intrigues, and their own kind. Until they don’t…

What in the realm have I gotten myself into this time?
I was merely curious. I thought it would be a splendid idea to sneak into the Shifter Kingdom. I had a plan.
Then it all went to Fairy and back.

The Misfits did not help matters.
The gremlins have given us four days to find the second artifact, an artifact that will help save our realm.
Four. Days.
It is simply not possible.

My name is Trixie Towers. I am the elven princess who is soul mated to the shifter king. My life is so dreadfully complicated now.

Thoughts on Scales & Skeletons

Love, love, LOVE this series!

I like Scarlett Dawn, yet somehow the Trixie Tower series is leaving most previous works of hers behind, or at least in my opinion. It’s just plain FUN!

Read my Review of Book 1 Here

Trixie is fast talking and snark loaded, flitting through a complex narrative that crafts the world as we go. Athon… he’s a lumbering beast of a man who I can’t help but adore. Put them together and the sparks literally fly! I am head over heels for this series, and I can’t wait to read Book 3!

Favorite Lines

When flower petals fall, I no longer mind. I am used to their tiny deaths. (2%)
They lived to fight—not fought to live. Their brains worked in a way I’d never know. (19%)

  • Very well written.
  • World building.
  • Characters, ALL of them! Each are so unique and expressed in all their delightful flaws.
  • Fast moving.
  • Are there going to be 6 books?! There are 6 artifacts…. ? 😁

  • Still a bit confused on the Fae. They sound all powerful…. and not.

Fantastic series and a bloody good continuation of Book 1! Funny, tense, hot as hell and snarky enough to elicit snorts, this book is perfect for any fan of Fantasy Romance, Paranormal Romance, Urban Fantasy or the Enemies-to-Lovers trope. Free on KU!
