What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

Each Victory is another day I get to continue breathing.  Each Victory is a reprieve from Death.

Ever since I was betrayed and taken from my home planet, ever since they pumped me with poison and abandoned me on this asteroid to fight or die, I’ve been surviving.

But I’m not alone.

There are others with me, alien to me, just as I am to them. Separated into Houses we fight as a team on the blood-soaked sands while the elite watch.

Each day is about survival until him.

An outsider, he brings death, but he might also be our salvation.

There can be no us and them. There can be no prejudice. There can only be the team, because together we are stronger.

Note:

Rogue A Sci fi adventure with a Whychoose romance and part of the Planet Athion world.

Thoughts on Rogue

Novella

Cassidy proves her love of variety with this sci-if romp. I’m not sure if it’s an early release or not, but this novella fits well in this authors almost manic disregard to themes. We’ve had fantasy, dystopian and plenty of urban fantasy – but this is the first straight sci-fi in her portfolio that I’ve read. Nicely done.

Rogue is a fighter, quite literally. Kidnapped from Earth to help replenish the female population of a distant planet ravaged by a virus, she instead, is stricken with a condition of her own – and sent to a far flung astroid to fight for her life in a Gladiator type competition that has no winners.

It’s brutal, it’s fast and, because it’s Cassidy and a Reverse Harem… it’s hot.

Pros:

  • Well written.
  • Short, but well woven.
  • I like the feeling between the group.

Cons:

  • Short.
  • Heat Trope.

My Final Verdict on Rogue

Enjoyable, though Novella length, sci-fi adventure. Plenty of action, heat and mystery. Entire series is complete, and free on Kindle Unlimited.
