Down & Dirty

We all know the story of Dorthy and the Wicked Witch… or do we? This is a Fast Burn, Reverse Harem take on the famous tale. Free on Kindle Unlimited.

What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

I’m wicked, bad to the bone, and a tad green.

All I ever wanted was to have normal witchy life but Dorothy ruined it all for me.

She turned my people against me, saying I was an wicked, evil witch. I mean if that’s what the people think, then fine that’s what they’ll get. I ride around on my broom, terrorizing the citizens and stealing candy from children.

Three handsome men drop into our world from a tornado that sweeps through the village and of course I’m somehow to blame. I didn’t cause this destruction… and definitely didn’t bring a strip club along for the ride.

Dorothy sends them after me and promises a way for them to get back home as long as they get rid of the Wicked Witch of the East.

Disguising myself as a damsel in distress with my green face hiding, I lead them along the yellow brick road to Emerald city.

I’ll get those pretty men before they can get me.

Note:

This is a Fast Burn Reverse Harem Romance which features alternative romantic dynamics, sexual scenes and a Heroine that does not have to choose between her love interests. Mature readers only.

Thoughts on My Pretty

Alright, this was actually a pretty fun ride. It’s silly, effervescent and totally insane, but it’s also humorous, hot and cheeky.

There isn’t much substance to it, and the writing comes across as stilted occasionally, while other points are downright amateurish…. but it’s still worth a read, despite the flaws. If nothing else, you’ll laugh my pretties.

Favorite Lines

He must’ve sent Tits McGee over here… her stripper name is really Tits McGee. (18%)
My stomach is quivering with nerves, I’m second guessing myself. What if I can’t control myself and accidentally fall, and I somehow slip onto one of their cocks? I only have so much control. (37%)
Can’t a witch have a few moments alone so she can pout and plot evil shit? (76%)

Pros:

  • Funny!!
  • Twisted land Andy take on the familiar story.
  • Love East.
  • Glinda…. I died.

Cons:

  • Writing was rough and fairly choppy.
  • Shatter her heart? That was never explained.
  • Uncle Oz… I’m So confused.

My Final Verdict on My Pretty

3.5 out of 5 Stars

I had issues with the writing style, but there is still something compelling about this novel – an urge to find out what happens, and why. It’s funny, hot and perfectly silly. Free on Kindle Unlimited.
