What is it about?
(Blurb from GoodReads)
The witness protection program has given me the fresh start I’ve always dreamed of. A new home. A new name. A new life. For the first time in ten years it feels like I can breathe again.
But the cost of freedom is more than I bargained for. I put my foster father behind bars. It doesn’t matter that he deserved it. What matters is that he’s powerful, manipulative, and now he wants me dead.
I can feel someone watching me. I know my time is running out. And the only other person who cares if I live or die is a masked stranger. So I’m putting my life in the vigilante’s hands. And maybe a piece of my heart along with it. Even though I’m worried that he’s just as dangerous as the man I sent to prison.
Thoughts on Made of Steel
Oddly compelling
With a Superman vibe (or maybe daredevil?) this romance is a mystery wrapped in darkness, with more questions than answers and a past that is creeping ever closer.
The characters are a bit hard to relate to and the history that seeps through the pages is almost as debilitating for the reader as it is for Summer. It’s not a dark read, nor could it be classified as rough…. but there is an undertone of mystic and shadow that catches and holds on.

My Final Verdict on Made of Steel

This is more a vigilante romance than a Super Hero novel, which makes the narrative that much more appealing. If you enjoy a story that doesn’t spoon feed the details, or the past, this is the mystery for you. With the complete series available on Kindle Unlimited, it promises a few days of literary satisfaction… though not the full picture you may crave.
