Dystopian MC RH (PNR?)
Available on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited

Down and Dirty

It’s a Mad Max world and women are the losers in this dangerous game – unless you fall in with the most dangerous MC around. Fast paced and almost kind, this is free on Kindle Unlimited.

What is it about?

(Blurb from Amazon)

The Collapse changed everything. Good men became killers. Strong women became property.
And every day turned into a fight for survival.

I once dreamed of becoming a nurse. That dream went up in flames the same day I graduated nursing school, when women were banned from holding any kind of medical license.

Now as an unlicensed medic, I travel what was once the southwestern United States, trading medical services for food, transportation, and shelter with the hopes of reaching Canada.

Because the United States is no more. And the lawless land that’s replaced it is a deadly place for a woman.

My worst fear comes true when I’m captured by the Steel Demons MC, the most ruthless biker gang in the Southwest. These men thrive on the violence and chaos brought on by the Collapse, and they’re eager to unleash it all on me.

It doesn’t even matter that the President’s dog likes me. I’m as good as dead.

Sons of Anarchy meets The Handmaid’s Tale in this dystopian reverse harem adventure! This wild ride is not for the faint of heart and contains adult themes that may be triggering.

Thoughts on Lawless

I hesitated to get this book, just because of the feel of the “handmaid’s tale” about it, but I’m glad I took a chance. The world does have that aura surrounding it, but not in this MC, and that is what makes it rather interesting.

It is a RH, or will be in future books, but that aspect seems to stem from the way Certain members of the MC were raised, which adds its own flair and uniqueness to the dystopian future. All in all, this is a good story, that while not quite a Love match yet, could definitely get there quickly.

Favorite Lines

“Be better than what we’ve become. Bring compassion and heart back to this violent world.” (3%)
“Being addicted to thick dick has grave consequences.” (49%)

Pros:

  • Shadow… I kinda love him. Need to know more about him.
  • The MC. Its a strange family, and though just the echoes of it come through right now, you can still see it.
  • I’m getting a paranormal vibe here and there. It’s not blatant, but it seems it might be coming. Horus and Hades (The animals).

Cons:

  • Felt short.
  • WHAT caused the collapse?

Final Verdict on Lawless

4 out of 5 Stars

The future is a hellscape that few can escape, though this group is trying their best to mesh and survive. It’s fast, brutal and just Mad Max enough to thrill. Free on KU.
