Fantasy, Fairytale, Academy SlowBurn RH

Down & Dirty
What if everything we know about Cinderella… is wrong? What happens when the victim is the villain, and that villain has a daughter? A twisted Academy Reverse Harem, free on Kindle Unlimited.
What is it about?
(Blurb from GoodReads)
Five immortal males. One heir to the Glass Throne. One huge secret.
It should’ve been as simple as Kira laying low and not drawing attention to herself at the academy. But laying low when your mother is the infamous Cinderella, and you’re supposed to be one of the last sirens, is harder than it sounds. Especially when you accidentally reveal your secret to four intimidating and handsome males, and when you’re drawn to your unattainable and mysterious professor.
As far as the seven kingdoms are concerned, Kira’s an immortal princess. And she’ll do anything to keep it that way.
Note from the Author:
This is a New Adult slow-burn Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance with plenty of steamy scenes set in a Fantasy world with a fairy tale twist.
It is a full-length novel that ends on a cliffhanger with a HEA in the final book in the series. Why choose?PLEASE NOTE: This book has been professionally edited in Australian English. Some spellings will differ from standard UK English and American English.
Thoughts on Immortal Secrets
Good twist
While not revolutionary , this Slowburn RH is both charming and easy to read. Based around the children and grandchildren of famous fairytales and more typical paranormal characters, it plays fast and loose with both myths and legends, tweaking the established narrative as it goes.
Cinderella isn’t good, little red riding hood led a war and Rapunzel is a faire… just to start. There’s also nymphs, werewolves, vampires and a baby siren just begging to be let free. It’s fun, a bit flighty, and slowburn enough to give these characters room to grow. A bit.
Favorite Line
Immortals were plagued by PTSD. You can’t live forever and not get a little messed up in the head, even if your trauma has been immortalised in a cute little collection of children’s stories. (2%)

My Final Verdict on Immortal Secrets

An interesting take on the Academy Genre, mixing fairytales with myth, while crafting a new world of Kingdoms and deception. It’s a bit fast, a whole lot fun and just intriguing enough to lead well into Book 2. Free on Kindle Unlimited.
