Down & Dirty

Picking up with a second sister, the Hellgate Guardians series gets bigger and deeper – and far more dangerous. Free on Kindle Unlimited.

What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

My name is Medley Bell, and if you had told me this time last week that I was demon, then I’d have said you were nuttier than a squirrel turd.

Of course, that was before I started seeing the strangest things. I’ve always been a little off, but it took stumbling into a backwater bar to understand how different I really am.

So when two drool-worthy guys stop by to tell me that I’m Hell spawn just like them, I’m more relieved than shocked. I mean, it sure does explain a lot.

Now, I just have to convince my mama and daddy that they can’t come with me on my first trip to Hell, deal with a hellish biological family I never knew I had, and keep from getting kidnapped by some weird Morax fella with snakes for hair.

Things are about to get crazy around here. I guess it’s a good thing I like that.

This is a Menage Romance, meaning there are two love interests and she does not have to choose between them.

Thoughts on Grave Decisions

I loved Delta’s tale and was surprised when Book 2 felt like a FINAL book in the last chapters. When the scene finally closed, I realized that the series would continue with another sister. Considering I was invested in Delta’s life, I was hesitant… but considering this is Raven Kennedy and Ivy Asher, I shouldn’t have worried.

Enter Medley Bell – a tough talking Southern darling who takes punches on the chin and just keeps rolling. Honestly? I love everything about her, from her attitude to her adoptive parents, her scythe to the men she falls in love with. This story takes the events from Books 1 & 2 and builds on them, trusting that the world foundation is solid and the plot can move forward, and move forward it does. It’s fantastic, and very well done.

  • Medley, Medley, Medley… she’s great.
  • Todd. Just Todd. I want a Todd.
  • Her Adoptive Parents, the Bell’s. They are wonderful! So southern it hurts and charming as all get out.
  • The way the plot weaves and blends.

  • Delta got 2 books with her as the star, and though I understand that much of that was needed for world building and establishment, I still almost feel that Medley get the short end here.

My Final Verdict on Grave Decisions

A great continuation of a well thought out incredibly well written tale, with compelling characters, hysterical moments, heated intimacy and plenty of danger. Free on Kindle Unlimited.
