What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

Yuletide is almost upon us. The season of cheer. My favourite time of year. It’s a shame danger doesn’t take a vacation.

The shimmer man is back, and he’s making his presence known. The binding keeping me safe is still intact, but I don’t think that’s going to stop him.

Not this time.

A kick ass Urban Fantasy Adventure filled with fey, demons, vampires, gargoyles and golems.

Thoughts on Ghost at the Feast

First up, you HAVE to read the previous books in this series first, or this installment will make zero sense. It’s the kind of novel that drops you into the action and just keeps right on running, picking up events and details as it goes.

With that warning out of the way, hold on. Things for Kat are just getting more complicated and dangerous. The Shimmer Man is still out there, hunting for a way into this realm, the Ghosts are in upheaval, humans are going missing, the Custodians are still prowling and Henri is still missing… oh, and the bond with Tris is starting to fray, tempting Kat to venture closer and closer to the land of dreams. All in a day’s work, right?

For Kat, that may be the case, and for the Nightwatch Team that has quickly become family, it is even more so. All these issues, which seem so different and separate, suddenly seem tied together in ways that very well may shake everything they know. It’s fast, it’s dangerous, and it the book that really starts to explain the entire series.

I’m eager to see what happens in Book 4!

*I received an ARC of this book and am happy to share my honest opinion*

Pros:

  • We finally get some answers, and a ton more questions.
  • Bres!! He might be my favorite.
  • The team really starts coming together in this installment.
  • Tris. I love that Gargoyle.

Cons:

  • A bit disjointed in the first few chapters.
  • Henri…. not really a ‘con’ exactly, but the Golem is annoying me.

Perspective:

First Person, Single POV (1 scene written in Multiple)

Ending Type:

Cliffhanger

Rating:

R

Romantic Dynamic:

M/F

Character Age:

Adult

My Final Verdict on Ghost at The Feast
