Dystopian Fast Burn RH, Stand-Alone

Down and Dirty
If you are looking for something on the naughtier and more domineering side of RH, this is the book for you.
What is it about?
(Blurb from GoodReads)
They told me the men who live on the surface were filthy beasts…
They were right! For a highborn daughter of the great tower, never touched by the hands of a man, there is no greater shame than exile to the surface. I was told that the brutes who dwell amid the ruins of the old world would do unspeakable things to a girl like me, that if I were left at their mercy my virgin body would be shared among them and used more roughly than I could possibly imagine!
I didn’t listen. I defied the sacred laws of the tower, and I was banished, cast down to be claimed by the savages beneath. But as they ravage me over and over, every desperate, devastatingly intense climax, makes it more clear, that there is one thing the elders did not warn me about…
They didn’t warn me that before long, I would beg these filthy beasts for more!
Publisher’s Note: Filthy Beasts includes spankings and rough, intense sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t read this book.
Thoughts on Filthy Beasts
Not so dark and not so filthy.
This is dystopian Rh that hints at a larger plot than this one explores, though it does flirt with the concept of an over powerful machine that controls those known as the highborn.
Similar in scope to the matrix, it lacks action and excitement but is overloaded with heat, possible taboos and fantasy made flesh. It’s not wrong to like this book, but it might feel like it.
Pros
- Interesting concept.
- One of the harem is older.
- The make-up of the Harem is wonderfully diverse: Older and strong, younger and naive, caring yet domineering and then the standard tough guy with a squishy heart.
Cons:
- More sex than plot, but decent.
- Not a fan of her thinking, “punished like I deserved”, though it serves the trope and plot, along with that nagging taboo that is more fantasy than DM, but the feminist in me balked. 🤷♀️

Verdict
A fairly fast read that touches on the edge of taboos while dancing in a dystopian future that is overshadowed by the sexual exploration of this quintet. Free on Kindle Unlimited.
