What is it about?
(Blurb from GoodReads)
Valentine’s Day brings to light three types of people each year. Those over-eager individuals in love with love, those bitter and in hate with love, and those so burned by love, they never want to feel its heat again.
Valentine’s Day is just another Thursday— a day for candy, flowers, and jewelry sales to soar as everyone scrambles to show their appreciation and monetize their love for that special someone in their lives.
On the flip side, liquor sales also skyrocket— Maya Neith would know. As the owner and bartender of Feline Good, a bar passed down from generation to generation like a precious heirloom, Maya has become jaded to the comical attempts at romance she has been forced to witness.
However, this Valentine’s Day, not even she can fight off the loneliness that comes with spending a couple’s holiday alone.
When she is attacked in her own home and three unexpected heroes come to the rescue, long kept secrets are revealed and histories long forgotten resurface.
Can Maya uncover the mystery behind the very walls of the bar she tends every single day before it’s too late?
Thoughts on Feline Good
3.5 rounded up
I’m rounding this up because I KNOW there are going to be tons of fans for this book out there and it deserves the attention. Lana Kole is a fantastic author and I generally really enjoy her work, just not this particular effort. That is just me though.
On the surface, this book has everything a stand alone RH needs to be successful. Honestly, formulaic, it’s perfect. I just didn’t feel it. I didn’t connect with the characters or the plot. It left me ambivalent. Regardless, like I said, that is just me. You should still take a look as the writing is still quite good.
Pros:
- Interesting Plot.
- Fast.
- Cover REALLY matches the descriptions, from piercings to tattoos. Nice.
Cons:
- Hard to connect to.
- Very Fast.
- Eh.

My Final Verdict on Feline Good

Personally, I think Lana Kole does better work when she draws her books out, allowing the characters time to breathe, grow and fall in love. That said, this is still a decent Stand Alone, and perfect for your TBR list. Free on KU.

Please note, Feline Good is a Reverse Harem Romance that features alternative romantic dynamics and sexual themes more suited to an adult audience. #WhyChoose
