Down & Dirty

The adventure continues, ignithing in both romance and danger when the Angel returns in tessa Cole’s fourth book in this series. Wonderful, and free on Kindle Unlimited.

What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

There’s no outrunning fate once it’s branded her heart.

I’d thought I was safe, free of the horrible fate awaiting me. I’d never been more wrong.

Now I’m living in my worst nightmare. I failed my guys as we fought for our lives against the Shadow King and his assassins, and the mating brand I’d tried so hard to get rid of flared to life.

Only one thing can break its agonizing power without killing me. Faerie’s Heart.

But we have no time to succumb to crushing heartbreak and sorrow. Somehow, we must pull our drained powers and broken bodies together — and evade the Winter Queen’s assassins — to find the final key needed to release the Heart before the Shadow King can get his hands on it. Failure means he will control all of Faerie.

And the brand will become a chasm — putting my guys and their love forever beyond my reach.

Note:

Fated Despair is the fourth book in the Angel’s Fate series, an action-packed full-length paranormal romance with powerful sexy men and a heroine who doesn’t have to choose. #ReverseHarem

Also:

** Angel’s Fate is a spinoff series from the Nephilim’s Destiny series. It’s not necessary to read the first series to enjoy this one.

Thoughts on Fated Despair

Awesome

Amiah has really grown on me and her adventure is fast, brutal and fully engaging. Book 4 picks up right where book 3 left off, slipping into the action without a second to spare. This group, though forced together, have forged something unbreakable, even if it seems so tenuous now – especially with the way book 3 closed. There are far too many questions and few many answers, and the issue with heart and the winter court is just growing larger. It’s complicated, bloody and oh so good.

Pros:

  • Sympathies with characters we once hated.
  • The Plot is Far racing and immersive.
  • Sebastian. Love him.
  • Titus… ok, love HIM!
  • Wait… Rin. He’s beautiful in a broken way.
  • Hawk… ok, yes, ALL the guys, Cassius included, are pros.

Cons:

  • Maybe a bit too fast in places?
  • I need some brands baby.

My Final Verdict on Fated Despair

If you’ve read Nephilim’s Destiny, you’ll recognize many of the faces in this action fueled series. Hot, mysterious and plot heavy, this series smacks the reader in the face and dares us to love characters we used to hate. Free on Kindle Unlimited.
