Fated Bonds

(Angel’s Fate – Book 1)

by Tessa Cole
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

SlowBurn, PNR RH
Available on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited

I originally published this review months and months ago, yet with the Newest (and final) release in this series, I wanted to take a look back. Why? Because this series doesn’t get enough love. I mean, I get it – Amiah gained some hate in the Nephilim series…. but she’s found her own, and a 6 book series PROVES she is a heroine we can cheer for. Give it a shot.

Down & Dirty

Remember that brisk and jealous woman, Amiah, from Tessa Cole’s amazing Nephilim’s Destiny series? THIS series is about HER…. and she is NOT what you think! Fast paced and completely riveting, this is a redemption and a revelation…. and it’s free on Kindle Unlimited.

What is it about?

(Blurb fromGoodReads)

Saving him was her first mistake…

Be a good angel, Amiah. Be patient, Amiah. Someone’s out there who’ll awaken and complete your soul bond. It’ll be beautiful. It’ll be… The worst possible thing that could happen.

Because a soul bond is no fairy tale, it’s a prison. Torture, should I wind up bonded to a complete stranger. Or worse, driven insane over a lost soul mate. It’s a ticking time bomb and I’ll do anything to get rid of it.

But before I can figure out how or if that’s even possible, Titus, the last dragon shifter, falls out of the sky and my healing magic accidentally leashes us together. If we’re separated, we both die.

Now we — along with Cassius, my best friend and a top JP agent, and Sebastian, a fae sorcerer who just won’t stop hitting on me even though I know he doesn’t really mean it — are being hunted by men who want to possess Titus’s unique dragon power. And if they can’t have him, they won’t hesitate to kill him… and take me down with him.

Fated Bonds is the first book in the Angel’s Fate series, an action-packed full-length paranormal romance with powerful sexy men and a heroine who doesn’t have to choose. (Reverse Harem)

** Angel’s Fate is a spinoff series from the Nephilim’s Destiny series. It’s not necessary to read the first series to enjoy this one.

Thoughts on Fated Bonds

Damn it!

Dang it! I did NOT want to like this protagonist…. but I do. She was such a rotten pill in the Nephilim series, but here we start to see the reasons WHY…. and they make sense. Two sides to every story, right? And now Cole has hooked me again and I have to read book 2.

Please note, that while character from Tessa Cole’s previous series appear and even star in this one, it is NOT necessary to read Nephilim’s Destiney in order to enjoy this fast ride.

  • FMC is a Surprise
  • Sebastian is back!
  • Cassius….. Fire angel to the rescue.
  • Titus…. wowsers…
  • Hawk? Please tell me Hawk.

  • Lots of relating to do to sympathize with FMC after last series.
  • If she calls herself weak one more time I might smack her.

My Final Verdict on Fated Bonds

4 out of 5 Stars

I started this series with a deep love for the author, yet a reserved hate for the Protagonist…. which turned 180 just a few chapters in. Leave it to Tessa Cole to smooth ruffled feathers and create a character you can’t help but love, even when she annoys you. This series is promising and fully action packed, hitting the ground (literally) with a flurry, setting into motion events that will drag a rag tag and mismatched group from this world into another… and bond them in the process. It’s a great read and free on Kindle Unlimited.
