Down & Dirty

There are no surprises when it comes to this novel, with that cover and that blurb – you get exactly what you are looking for. Kinda sweet, definite HEA and just enough dragon scale to satisfy. Free on Kindle Unlimited.

What is it about?

(Blurb from GoodReads)

My human nanny has no idea who I really am.
A powerful dragon shifter.
She also doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into.
I am a single dad and The Nanny Hearts Service helped me find her.
I needed someone to take care of my son when my own wife betrayed me.
She let the enemies come after our family.
My rival, Lexi, is still looking to harm me.
I’ll deal with him once I have my personal affairs under control.
And right now, the only thing I have on my mind is her.
Naomi Stark.
As beautiful as the moon.
And as damaged as I am.
I see myself in her eyes.
And I want her in my bed.
I’m afraid it’ll be too late if I don’t claim her now.
My rivals will stop at nothing to destroy me.
They won’t hesitate to use her to get to me.
I need to be her protector.
And then discover the big secret she’s been keeping from me.

Thoughts on Dragon’s Nanny MatchMate

Ok

Pretty typical stand alone dragon shifter romance; all the cheese with very little emotional build up – which is just why you read these! 😉

Rival dragon clans, acting in the guise of gangs, secret shifter, even though this world knows about shifters, and a predictable ‘secret’ a the end.  No insta-Love though, or fated mates, so it was fairly trope free, a solid plus. Mind you, I enjoy Insta books just fine, but sometimes having a choice instead of Destiny reads better.

My Final Verdict on Dragon’s Nanny MatchMate

Not exactly a guilty pleasure, but not far from it. Dragons, danger and sex, oh my! It’s a stand alone, HEA, and it’s free on Kindle Unlimited.
