This one is alright, though a touch predictible. Interesting enough to nab off Kindle Unlimited.
What is it about?
(Blurb from GoodReads)
Lonely college girl and four hot Dragon-shifter royals… Her past was a disaster, but her future is on fire.
A car accident leaves Diana searching for answers. One minute she’s in the Arizona desert, the next, she’s on a beach in an unknown land. Groggy and scared, she needs help.
The first man she sees doesn’t look like help, though. He stalks her like prey, watching and waiting. How in the hell did she get into this mess?
Just as he’s about to strike, Diana is rescued by Cetus, a dragon shifter, and a royal one at that.
She’s certain this is all a dream, especially when she sees his chiseled features and the way he looks at her.
He’s interested. In her. Swoon. He returns to the Emperor, who happens to be his uncle, with Diana in tow.
She’s amazed by the beauty of the palace and its inhabitants, but she’s in for more than she bargained for.Cetus has three cousins: Geb, Lux, and Aurus. Each a different type of dragon shifter, they’re all kinds of beautiful in their own protective ways…and they all want her.
Now Diana is their servant, doing anything the dragons require.
But as she stays at the palace things begin to change. She begins to change. Standing beside these four dragons, she’s beginning to feel like she belongs. Can their love be split five ways, or will their dragon nature burn everything to the ground?
Thoughts on Captured by Dragons
Alright
This one was an intriguing addition to the dragon RH genre, finding a home in the “other worlds” aspect instead of carving its own space. It doesn’t quite stand out, but there were enough differences in the approach and mythos (wood dragons) to make it interesting. I am curious as to where book 2 will lead.

Rating
R
Pros:
- Diana, I could relate.
- Multiple POV offer more insight.
- All the guys are different, in a very good way. Far too often in RH, the harem starts blending together.
Cons:
- Disjointed in places.
- Predictable, though not blatantly so.
Verdict
This book is alright for a dragon shifter RH, but just alright. It doesn’t shine, nor is it horrible – it’s a blase addition….. BUT, it COULD be an amazing series if Book 2 takes these ideas and makes them into something special. And that cover is gorgeous – and fits a scene in the book perfectly.

Please note, Captured by Dragon is the first Book in a Reverse Harem series that will feature sexual themes and possible scenes more suited to an older audience.
