My Thoughts on Bound by Her Blood

I heard about this series in a Facebook Group and I am rather glad I followed it up! Though some readers tagged it as a ‘Dark’ read, I found it more ‘shadowed’ than anything. There is certainly mention of torture and physical (sexual) abuse, but the actuality of it is NOT in the reader’s face, though a trigger warning is warranted.

Overall, this is a very interesting plot, with action that slams right out of the gate. The romance also happens quickly, with a ‘ever after’ feel striking fairly fast – yet is somehow works well with these characters, and what they bring to the table.

A bit fast, yet well done.
